Designed for teenagers and adults, this program focuses on group work, behavior
modification and appropriate training in job oriented / therapeutic skills.
They learn via various mediums, and stress is placed on concrete materials and
objects, in order to help them relate what they learn to life.
The training takes place in classrooms, as well as in real life situations. The
program includes a functional academic program, which establishes goals for
each participant, based on his/her ability.
Sheltered Work Programs
The sheltered work program provides work opportunities for those who cannot be
integrated into the mainstream because of their condition. Our trainees are
employed in the association's workshops, or in the assembly lines established
on its premises. They all receive stipends for their work, and participate in
various social and recreational activities.
in addition to the sheltered work programs, the association has a program that
prepares candidates with the necessary skills to enter the mainstream job
market. This programs has been successful in finding employment for 5 of our
trainees outside the association, in their respective communities. |
