RTLA has two residential care facilities, one for girls situated on the
association's premises and the other for boys situated in the Mokattam area.
RTLA residential facilities were set up to cater for the diverse, but
individual needs of adults with intellectual disabilities.
Participants need to be above the age of 21 or are orphans. RTLA provides full
time care to more than 25 residents. Each resident is assisted by qualified
caretakers who provide them with the support and care they need.
Support varies according to the needs of the individual and may include
personal care, training in daily living activities and behavioral support. |
